The Llandegfedd, Llanddewi Fach and Llangattock-nigh-Caerleon Coronation Celebration was held at Ty Capten Farm on Sunday 7th. We had the use of two beautifully decorated barns but the sell-out crowd of over 90 residents wanted to be sat outside in the glorious sunshine. We held a “crown” competition, a quiz, and following a BBQ we had fantastic live entertainment from “ Big Sky” with guest appearances from several villagers. Brigadier Robert Aitken, Lord Lieutenant of Gwent and Llandegfedd resident related his experience of attending the actual coronation the previous day and proposed a toast to King Charles III. A great time was had by all.
